Got an email from an organization looking for magicians willing to donate their time and services, and help out with a Chicago-area gala event on February 11th... The organization provides shelter, meals, and supportive services, for people that are homeless in the SW Chicago suburbs. According to the email, they will advertise you as an entertainer at the event, and you're welcome to hand out business cards and whatnot.
I can't do the gig, but I'm trying to get the word out. If you're interested, send me a private message or email, and I'll hook you up with the contact info. Also, feel free to copy-and-paste this message to spread the word to Midwest entertainers.
